What is a PixOil™?

Each fine art original starts from a supplied cellphone photo – or a high resolution scan from a photo print. The original photo is then digitally retouched, color enhanced, and rendered using proprietary software and CG art techniques. Next the digital art is transferred to a museum quality, fine art giclee (gee-clay) print on stretched canvas.

The final phase of work is done in the art studio where

traditional hand brushed oil paints are applied to complete the artwork. The painting is coated with an archival, satin finished varnish to ensure heirloom color retention and image fidelity for generations.
